Enable Cheats on a PC

1. Press CTRL + Shift + C on your keyboard.
   
2. Type in “TestingCheats True” and press enter.
   
3. Close the dialogue box by pressing CTRL + Shift + C again or enter the cheat of your choice.

1. Press Command + Shift + C on your keyboard.
   
2. Type in “TestingCheats True” and press enter.

Using Full Edit Mode CAS in Sims 4

4. Press and hold “Shift” and then click the sim and choose “Modify” in CAS.

Full Edit Mode Mods for Sims 4

One of the best aspects of Sims 4 is the mods. These are user-generated additions to the game that can increase your creative gameplay. Users have created mods for houses, careers, gender, personality, and more. Not only is there a wide variety of mods to choose from, but the game also makes it straightforward to load those mods.

Mods on PC

1. Download the mod to your computer and extract the file it downloaded as a .rar or .zip.
   
2. Move all unzipped files to the game’s mod folder, typically located in “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.” Make your own folder in this location if one does not exist.
   
3. Open The Sims 4.
   
4. Go to “Options” and then select “Game Options.” Click on the “Other” tab.
   
5. Check the “enable custom content and mods” box.
   
6. Quit and then relaunch the game.

Mods on Mac

1. Download your chosen mod and head for your mod files.
   
2. Unzip the file if it downloads as .rar or .zip “Double-click” it. The folder will unzip automatically in the same main folder.
   
3. Move all the files to the mod folder. This folder is typically located in “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.” If there is no folder, make your own in that location.
4. Launch The Sims 4.
   
5. Open the “Options” menu and select the “Game Options” tab.
   
6. Select the “Other” tab.
   
7. Check the “enable custom content and mods” box.
   
8. Quit and then relaunch the game.

Mods on Console

Currently, Sims 4 does not support mods on consoles. Mods for any game on the console are very rare, and when Sims 4 was ported to console, mods were not an included feature.

Double-Check the Code
