As a meeting organizer in Teams, you can find out which internal and external participants attended and the time they joined and left. This information is especially useful for teachers and lecturers checking class attendance. If you need access to these details, read on to find out how.
As well as being the meeting organizer, before you can download meeting reports, the feature must be enabled for you by the admin.

How to Check Who Attended a Previous Teams Meeting on a PC
You can access the attendance details from the meeting calendar entry and the meeting’s chat. To access from the event entry:
- Open “Teams.”
- Click on “Calendar” then open the meeting.
- Click on the “Attendance” tab.
- The attendance information will display.
Or to download a .csv file from the meeting chat:
- Click on the “Participants” tab.
- The “Attendance list” will display in the meeting chat only to the meeting organizer.
- Click on the download icon. The file will be available via your computer’s “Downloads” folder.

How to Check Who Attended a Previous Teams Meeting on an Android
There are two ways to access the post-meeting attendance list – via the calendar entry and the meeting’s chat. To access from the calendar entry on your Android device:
- Open the “Teams” app.
- Tap “Calendar” then open the meeting.
- Tap on the “Attendance” tab.
- The meeting attendance information will display.
To download the file from the meeting chat, which is only visible to the meeting organizer:
- Select the “Chat” tab.
- Navigate to “Attendance report” that will display in the meeting’s chat.
- Tap on the download icon. The file will be downloaded to the “My Files” or “File Manager” app on your device.
How to Check Who Attended a Previous Teams Meeting on an iPhone
You can receive the attendance report for a past meeting in two places: via the calendar entry or in the meeting’s chat. To download the report from the calendar entry on your iPhone:
- Open the “Teams” app.
- Tap “Calendar” then open the meeting.
- Select the “Attendance” tab. The attendance information will display.
To download a .csv file to your phone from the meeting chat:
- Tap the “Chat” tab.
- If you organized the meeting, the “Attendance report” will be available to you only in the meeting’s chat.
- Tap on the download icon. The file will be downloaded to the “Downloads” folder.

- Open “Teams.”

- Select the “Chat” tab.
- If you organized the meeting the “Attendance report” will display in the chat.

Who Attended My Teams Meeting?
As the meeting organizer, you can access the list of meeting attendees. Once the feature has been enabled for you, reports can be downloaded at any time during or after meetings. It includes joining, leaving, and re-joining times. This feature is particularly useful in education to find out who has/hasn’t been skipping class.
You can get a snapshot report of current participants via the “Show participants” option while the meeting is running. Or you can post-meeting details from the calendar entry and the meeting’s chat. The .csv file is saved to your “Downloads” folder.
